Oh my gosh, you went way beyond what I would have expected with this one! When I think "headshot," I usually think of just the head. I really wasn't expecting any part of the wings to be included in it at all! Heheh, sat and stared at it for a few seconds just.. in awe. <3

Personally, I don't think any part of it's weird at all. I really like the little yellow swirls actually! :'D

I'm super happy I commissioned you! You drew him so wonderfully in both pieces. I could keep going on about all of the little details and how much I completely adore both images! (I'm happy he was fun to draw too!) He's absolutely perfectly in them. You're honestly one of the most wonderful commissioners I've come across recently! Thank you so much - especially for being able to work so quickly, too!
